

Mauro Di Domenico
Mauro Di Domenico, guitarist, composer, and arranger, is the son of tenor Lello Di Domenico. He studied Latin American music with Alirio Díaz and flamenco with Paco Peña. In the 1970s, he began collaborating with Inti-Illimani, participating in the multimedia project "Nati in riva al mondo," alongside artists like Luis Sepúlveda, with the support of the Chilean Government and the Foundation Pablo Neruda.
He has also worked with Massimo Ranieri in theater, television, and tours, as well as with Mauro Pagani. On stage, he collaborated with director Maurizio Scaparro in productions such as Don Chisciotte and Le mille e una notte.
In 2007, Mauro Di Domenico released the album "Di Domenico plays Morricone," which featured an exclusive track by legendary composer Ennio Morricone. In 2013, he contributed to Nicola Piovani's album Piovani Cantabile, collaborating with several prominent artists.
In 2018, he released "EsSenza," a tribute to Pino Daniele, featuring guest artists like Phil Palmer and Paolo Jannacci. In 2020, he released the collection "Antologia Napolitana - for Classical Guitar," which included transcriptions for classical guitar.
His solo concerts combine reinterpretations of iconic soundtracks and popular songs, showcasing his unique approach to music.
