Kelly Joice
Kelly's debut on the music scene occurred in 2001 with the single "Vivre la Vie", which became an international hit and paved the way for her album Kelly Joyce released by Universal Music. The album sold more than 600,000 copies worldwide, receiving radio and TV airplay from Canada to New Zealand, Siberia, and Africa. In France, it earned her a nomination at the French Music Awards. Following this, she participated in numerous festivals across Italy, including the Festival dei Due Mondi in Spoleto, Porretta Jazz, Pozzuoli Jazz Festival, and many others.
In 2010, her song "Rendez-Vous" was chosen as the theme for a six-month-long commercial campaign for Wind, featuring Aldo Giovanni e Giacomo, Panariello, and Incontrada. Kelly Joyce has performed on some of the most important jazz stages, with a repertoire that blends various influences from her diverse origins, including Blues, Negro Spirituals, Bossa Nova, and Portuguese Fado.
In 2011, she performed at one of the most prestigious venues in Moscow, the Crocus Theater, for three dates with the Moulin Rouge. The Moscow Time praised her performance, boosting her recognition in the former Soviet Union. Later, she recorded a collaboration with the Berardi Jazz Connection, a group of jazz musicians from Puglia, writing "Love Recipe", a successful single that was also promoted in Japan.
In 2012, she released the single "Wake Up" with the Four Crackers, drawing influences from the '70s. This was followed by a tour and opening acts for major concerts, such as those of Ben Harper, Norah Jones, and Incognito, among others. The band featured Massimo Manzi on drums, Massimo Morriconi on double bass, Javier Girotto on saxophone, and Fabrizio Bosso on trumpet.
